Fur coats have a long history of being associated with the aristocratic and posh of the world. This year, however, fur got a serious makeover and was seen in neons, on clutches, and even on your cell phone. Fur is no longer reserved for the upper crust, and has instead been re-envisioned into something that every edgy it-girl needs in her closet.

Faux fur comes in all shapes and sizes this year, and the only rule to wear it is to disregard the rules completely. My only advice? Avoid real fur and keep your look faux, not faux pas.
